A Sad Day for HarpringSucks

On behalf of all posters at HarpringSucks, we would like to wish Derek Fisher's daughter a quick and full recovery and for the wind to always be at his back.

Thanks for the memories, Fisher. You will be missed.

Dear Montecore,

I hope your little cub recovers and enjoys a long life of health. Now that my main source for Harpringsucks material has left to search Phoenix, Miami, San Antonio, and Dallas for better medical care, I will take a cue from you and dig deep down to find a source of inspiration and leadership so that I can post again.

I know this is primarily a comedy site, but I don't find the humor in making fun of a man who just gave up millions of dollars in salary to focus on being able to be present for his daughters care. This site usually reaches to a better standard.

some people (one brow) have a difficult time differentiating between making fun of the way somebody plays basketball and making fun of the man on a personal level.

Derek Fisher was a class act, a great family man, a very nice guy, a good teammate, but not a good player for the Jazz. I wish him well, but am glad to see him go.

This site has a standard?

I think our standard is "poor taste sells."
